My downstairs neighbour Johnny Ghorbani performed in it two years ago in Vancouver with co-star Stefania Indelicato, directed by Jay Brazeau, and absolutely blew me away with the rawness and depth of character the two actors achieved on stage.Cynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03937587994818336860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965282175848871490.post-44431847956948255672019-04-22T00:21:20.280-07:002019-04-22T00:21:20.280-07:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Gaming zonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10389375227354393926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965282175848871490.post-1379584083384457692018-08-29T05:05:09.498-07:002018-08-29T05:05:09.498-07:00I made that change. The choreographed movements were phenomenal. It's a play ripe for the world we live in. Seeing both The Emperor Jones and this play in the same weekend gave me many things on which to reflect concerning the treatment of humanity. The lower economic classes are often denigrated, and they find it difficult to rise and convince others that they deserve humane treatment regardless of economic or racial status. Thanks for recommending it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02711997573687474590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2965282175848871490.post-49304635971774965462016-06-03T03:31:35.782-07:002016-06-03T03:31:35.782-07:00I just saw this last night. Some of the acting seemed contrived instead of natural, resulting in a difficult connection with the characters. The last scene with Jessica Lange was heart felt.
